Mumbai — Legendary Bollywood actor Govardhan Asrani, fondly known as Asrani, passed away in Mumbai on October 20, 2025, at the age of 84. The veteran performer, celebrated for his impeccable comic timing and unmatched versatility, breathed his last at a hospital in Juhu after battling respiratory complications.

According to family members, Asrani had been suffering from age-related health issues for some time. Despite medical care, his condition worsened, and he passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon.
